Finance Clinic for Self Employed Creatives with Shameika Byfield
Award-winning accountant and business adviser Shameika Byfield will explore the impact of Covid-19 on entrepreneurs and creatives, take your questions and explain budgeting and contingency.
At this challenging time, many entrepreneurs, self employed writers, creatives and artists of colour are facing uncertainty over how to generate a secure income during the Covid-19 lockdown, including knowing what is available for them in terms of financial support , and whether it is worthwhile pursuing a business idea or launch at this time.
The pandemic has also opened up a creative space to think about what you would like to pursue, be it a product, a play, a book or piloting a workshop, knowing how to budget and forward plan or exploring what the best legal structure would be for a business or project that you would like to establish in a post-Covid world.
In this practical session Shameika Byfield will help you explore the current options to navigate these decision with confidence.
